Knowing all too well how frustrating it is to receive unwanted emails and spam, we thought you might like to have some reassurance that we are very careful with the details you give us when you join our mailing list.
We hold those details as safely as we can, and do so in accordance with the Data Protection Act and we have no access to any information about you other than what you give us.
The information that you give us is used, only by us, to inform you about our work with the Dances of Universal Peace. When emailing to those on our database, we use 'blind copy' to ensure that your details are hidden from general view.
We do not give out or pass on your details to anyone else under any circumstances.
What information do we ask you for?

- Your address
- Your email address
- Your phone number
We ask for all these details so that we can contact you when we need to. Most of the time, we send out information by email where possible but, occasionally, we may send you something by 'snail' mail.
Having your postal address also means that we can hold your information in a way that allows us to send information only about events that will interest you (i.e. within your geographical range). We keep a record of your phone number so that if we need to contact you urgently about an event you are planning to attend, and/or when we are away from home without our computer, we are able to do so.
Removal of your details
At any time, should you wish us to remove of your details from our database, please contact us by email or phone (See "Contact Us") and we will make sure that your request is acted upon at the earliest possible opportunity.
