About Our Work

We both teach the Dances and lead them either separately or together. We accompany ourselves and each other with guitars and hand drums or sometimes, other musical instruments.

Each Dance programme we offer is conceived to follow a theme, which includes connecting us with natural cycles and the time of the year. All our weekend retreats are individual and are given a particular focus.

We organise our own regular day and weekend events, and travel to many different areas of the country. We also respond to invitations to serve other Dance communities and to introduce the Dances to new groups. See "Events Listing" & "Residential Retreats"

Always keen to promote the Dances as much as we can, we have made ourselves available for outreach work and, as well as initiating outreach projects in the UK, we have also been invited to take our work abroad.

We have worked twice at Dance Camps in Latvia, assisted at a Training Retreat in Estonia & with teacher training in Russia, and have led weekend retreats in the Ardèche region of southern France.

In 2007, through our involvement in our local inter-faith group, we were invited to take the Dances to INSET (teacher training) days in Devon, Dorset and Cornwall - a project that continues this year. And 2008 also sees us join the Dance leading team at both Sacred Arts Camp & Unicorn Peace Through the Arts Camp - the two major Dances of Universal Peace gatherings in the UK.

The following comments are extracted from some of the many letters of appreciation which participants have very kindly sent us:

"Thank you both so much for focusing the spreading of light through the Dance. It is all a great joy and blessing and my heart resonates with who you are and what you do." C.

"What I like especially about Glenda and Trevor's leading of the dances is that their style of teaching and leading is very accessible and very clear." D.

"I've always felt deeply moved by the qualities you bring to the Dances - very simple but so deep, and your hearts shine with truth, sincerity and devotion." P.

"Thank you both for another wonder-filled day. You have something that is very precious and so right at this time. Long may you continue to share this with us all." R.

"It was a wonderful experience ... It was playful and also deep. Please come back again ... your presence was a gift." L.
